Berkeley Marina Hotel
200 Marina Blvd | Berkeley, CA 94710 | 510-548-7920
Uniquely situated in San Francisco Bay, the hotel has expansive views of the Bay, the Oakland hills and the San Francisco skyline. Quiet and private, attendees can enjoy walks around the marina, borrow a hotel bike for a quick trip along the Bay Trail or relax around a fire pit on the patio.
Right next door to the Marina is César Chávez park, a 90-acre expanse with spectacular views of three bay bridges, Alcatraz, and Angel Island.
The park was renamed in 1996 after César E. Chávez, noted union leader and founder of the United Farm Workers of America.
A 1.25 miles paved walkway encircles the perimeter of the park. During the night hike you might even see some nesting owls.
On Wednesday afternoon there will be an option to explore the park with a bird walk, a bike tour, or possible a kayak trip.
